Events Calendar & Tickets Plus
The Events Calendar is a free WordPress plugin developed by Modern Tribe. We used this in addition to two of Modern Tribes premium extensions. With the Events Calendar Pro and Tickets Plus we were able to develop the ticketing system for The Woodworking Shows' tradeshows. Shortcodes
In Wordpress, many plugins have what are called shortcodes. The events plugin we used has many shortcodes that allow users to add calendar features to their sites. For The Woodworking Shows we used a shortcode to display the events under the events tab dynamically. The home page events are manually entered via the divi builder to help reduce the load time on the home page.
